Three recently upgraded wastewater treatment plants in the Chesapeake watershed have incorporated BioChem’s BIOS into their control strategy to improve their Total Nitrogen effluent numbers and meet the strict Chesapeake NPDES limits. At the same time, they are reducing their overall energy consumption and reducing their O&M expenses to benefit the local ratepayers.
